Auckland Sushi Patrons Aren’t Too Smart

So you’re a St Pierre’s Sushi operator and as such are on the frontline of fast health food distribution. You’re trying to head Subway off at the pass and come up with the following promotion:

Sushi Value of the Day

Value of the Day certainly has a cool, custom Japanese English sound to it. You’re not quite at the Subway price point of $3.90, but it’s sushi so you can argue that even the higher price represents the same or better value.

Still, with all that, what does your experience with the customer tell you to disclaim?

A Warning For All You Silly Aucklanders

Apparently specifying a particular meal deal for a Tuesday doesn’t stop Aucklanders from asking for that same meal deal on the Friday or Saturday instead. Are there people doing this at Subway too? Going in on Veggie Tuesday and trying to demand a Meatball Monday?

Silly Aucklanders. Do you really have to be told that ingredients for sushi of the day cannot be changed?

Unfortunately, survey says yes. The JAFA attitude probably means they cause a fuss when they’re told they can’t change the ingredients. Not that the disclaimer is full proof against that attitude anyway.
